The property has a large main building where the reception is located for guests of the hotel as well as for those who visit the site during the day. In this building there is the restaurant for hotel guests and the departure centre for walks along the paths in this private reserve. There is ample parking with surveillance, a souvenir shop and many tables and chairs overlooking the forest for eating and having breakfast. The hotel has 17 spacious luxury rooms. The hotel provides guests with currency exchange facilities, a bar, a breakfast/dining room and room service.

The hotel is located in the Central Volcanic Mountain Range in the north of San Jose on the Caribbean slope. It is located on the road between the villages of Vara Blanca and Cariblanco, next to La Paz River, before reaching the La Paz waterfall bridge. It is also located less than 1 hour from San Jose International Airport and 20 minutes from the Poás Volcano, another of Costa Rica's many attractions.
