Built in 2009, this 65-room hotel was restored from 2 blocks of pre-war shops and restaurants. All its furnishings are reminiscent of the Baba Nyonya era of opulence, featuring ornately hand-carved wooden furniture and walls, porcelain tableware and mother-of-pearl ornaments. Fully air-conditioned, the hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with a 24-hour reception and lift access. The end of a row of pre war houses, very prominent as it is painted in red.
This city hotel is located in the heart of the bustling Katong district and is surrounded by some of the best restaurants the city has to offer. The East Coast Park, beach and shopping mall are all just an 8-minute drive away and links to the public transport network can be found just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel. Singapore Changi Airport lies some 10 km away.
Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, there are several dining and nightlife venues on the same street.
