Some years ago the hotel purchased a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm of President Paul Kruger, and over the years it has consolidated an area of some 283 hectares, which has been game fenced. In 2006, it underwent a major upgrade, and now the hotel offers 62 elegantly furnished rooms, 7 fully equipped conference rooms and the Metswedi bar where guests may have a drink while watching the sunset over the natural bush.
