The resort, which was renovated in 2005, offers 14 traditional rooms and cottages in the midst of rice fields and lush tropical gardens. Cool breezes blow off the surrounding rice fields. The resort is situated in Mas, about a 10-minute drive from Ubud and approximately an hour from the international airport. The Batuan Painting and Art Village, the Elephant Cave and Pejeng Village and Celuk Gold and Silversmith Village are all just a short drive away.

Each room or cottage features Balinese architecture and décor, including valuable original paintings, sculptures, fine furniture and carefully chosen fabrics. Deluxe marble bathrooms are a delight to every sense. Most of the rooms feature a secluded outdoor shower in a private garden. This successfully conveys the essence of the tropics.
