The hotel is surrounded by palm trees and pine woods, and within walking distance from the small beach located at the heart of Ulcinj. It is one of the few family-owned and operated facilities among Montenegro's hotels and resorts, steeped in the 2000-year history of the Ulcinj community. It is among the oldest settlements in the Mediterranean, a place where Romans, Turks, Viennese, and even pirates once lived. There is a bus station about 2 km from the hotel and a train station is located approximately 25 km away.
