The majority of bedrooms and meeting rooms are adjacent to the main building, in the garden courtyard and Hertfordshire wing. Harpenden House underwent a transformation in 2007/2008 through an investment of several million pounds. Most of the bedrooms in the main building have recently been fully renovated to provide comfortable, modern facilities in rooms with their own individual character. 15 of the Garden Courtyard rooms have been fully renovated to an executive standard. These rooms are very spacious and comfortable and, along with the usual high-specification facilities, offer American-style king-size beds, a small lounge area and brand-new bathrooms with separate bathtub and shower. Each room at the hotel comes complete with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/cable television, a radio, Internet access, tea and coffee-making facilities and an ironing set.
