The hotel has 292 guest rooms and suites. The hotel was built in 1982 and has had numerous renovations; the most recent was in 2005. This is a fantastic resort hotel that features two restaurants, a luxury spa, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and two pools with Jacuzzis.

The property is located in Vail, Colorado. The Cascade maintains a true mountain feel by being nestled against the mountains along a creek. A hotel chairlift provides direct access to Vail Mountain and a hotel shuttle takes guests to and from the Vail Villages (a 5 minute ride).

Main Lodge Guest Room Courtyard View: Offers one king bed or two queens with coutyard views. Deluxe Guest Room Mountain View: These rooms offer more space and are significantly larger than the main lodge rooms. The bedding options include a king room with a queen sofa sleeper or a room with two queens, these rooms have a view of mountains and/or creek. Cascade Suites: These one-bedroom suites offer more square footage with a bedroom and a seperate living room. All suites have a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and a king bed or two queens are available in the bedroom, either courtyard or mountain views.
