The "Bauta" was the ancient mask hiding the identity of the nobles attending the house parties in the patrician palaces during the sinful Venetian Carnival. Ca' Bauta was once the palace of an ancient family of venetian merchants and is now the elegant guesthouse in the heart of Venice.
In a very quiet location, Ca' Bauta is a few steps away from Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, one of the venetian areas with most scenographic appeal. A short walk through the typical narrow streets of Venice leads to Piazza San Marco or Ponte di Rialto. The public water transport (Vaporetti)stops to the railway station Venezia Santa Lucia and the airport Marco Polo VCE are very close.
