Thursday. 19 February, 1942. World War II reaches mainland Australia and the northern city of Darwin is bombed. Join your knowledgeable local guide who will take you back to that WWII era on a 2-hour walk through the historic quarter of the city.

Logistics Instructions

Start location : Look for the guide wearing a bright orange shirt and standing near the John McDouall Stuart monument in Raintree Park.

End location : From The Cenotaph, guests can choose to walk the paths of Bicentennial Park and view memorials to lives lost during WWII, or purchase refreshments from a nearby cafe.
