Yuzen is a Japanese dyeing technique for fabrics with hand-painted patterns and it was first invented in Kyoto. Kimonos made in Kyoto are sent to this workshop to be hand-painted since there are few yuzen artists all over Japan. ・Other culture experiences: mizuhiki crafting, paper folding, wearing a samurai armor and making a bento. In the first floor of the building there are various workshops of Japanese culture experiences. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in any particular Japanese culture. We can combine activities.
