Otaru is a major tourist city in Hokkaido famous for its canal. Most of the tourists visit the “southern part” of the canal but you will visit the “northern part”! The northern part still has the scenery it used to have when Otaru was a flourishing port town! The attraction of this tour is the kimono experience! You will wear a kimono and walk around the area. A professional kimono clerk will help you put it on! The tasteful scenery of the northern part fits very well with kimono. Don’t forget to bring your camera! You will visit a café using a historic building, a knick-knack store dealing with high-quality merchandise, and Otaru sake shop! Let’s go on to your Otaru canal tour!
