Enjoy this 40 minute river cruise in a modern boat with up to 1200 HP. Especially build for the river Salzach, draught of only 38 cm. Unique design with large windows. Enables a magnificent panoramic view. Experience the best side of Salzburg from the water with this tour and glide past the impressive natural landscape and scenery of this town. The River Cruise takes 40 minutes. May/June/July/August/September: Cruise 5:00 pm - Dinner 6:30 pm October: Cruise 4:00 pm - Dinner 6:00 pm Fortress Funicular ascent & descent (no pick-up at the station) After ascending with the funicular to the Fortress, the Panorama Restaurant is located on the right side at the exit. At this unique location you enjoy your dinner with marvelous views to Salzburg City and its surroundings. Dinner takes approx. 1,5 hours

  • Start location : Directions: Make your way to Franz Josef Kai landing station, located opposite Austria’s Hotel Sacher in Salzburg's Old Town. Coming from Makartsteg, a curved pedestrian bridge connects old town with new town and is located directly next to the river cruise.
  • End location : After the dinner the fortress railways takes you back in the city
