The hotel was born out of the dream to create a hotel property that would complement the residential area of Kebayoran Baru in terms of architecture, scale and utility. The concept of the architecture was thus conceived as a new and contemporary interpretation. Renovated in 2009, the 100-room hotel is fully air-conditioned and comprises a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. A hairdressing salon, children's playground, kids' club, bar and restaurant are also available. The conference facilities and WLAN Internet access (for a fee) may be of use to business guests, whilst room service, a laundry service (for a fee) and a car park are further conveniences. Similarly entering a private hallway that opens up on both side becoming the distinctive majapahit hall signed by the trowulan temple, comprise of four intimate lounges, each uniquely decorated with Indonesian historical arts and culture.

Located in the heart of Kebayoran Baru, The Dharmawangsa is the most prestigious residential area in Jakarta, Indonesia, just minutes from the Kemang area, and famous for its entertainment and antique furniture boutiques.
